MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin pop mainstream has been impacted by his international impact. In 2017, his 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. His debut album was a long-player ADN to the local Sony distributor in Medellin La Industria Inc. The album reached number 8 on the Top Latin Albums Chart. In the following year, he teamed up with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca which reached number five on the chart of Top Latin Albums. In the year 2020, he teamed up with Noriel on Mala Influencia and released the album Dopamina the next year. In 2021, he sang an duet with TINI's popular song Maldita Foto. 2023 was the year 2000 when the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo is a musician born in a musical home. His mother and brother were both musicians. In interviews, Turizo has stated that music is a must. He was taught how to play the guitar, saxophone ukulele, and piano as an infant. He initially wanted to be an vet but when his brother Julian encouraged him to take lessons with an Cuban musician, he rearranged his the direction of his career.
